Our Programs
Food Pantry
We now have seved over 14,000 Families and Seniors since our inception. On a weekly basis we have between 25 seniors and 110 families coming to our doors on Fridays. Seniors arrive anytime between 2:00 to 2:30pm, followed by families from 2:30 to 5:00pm. We ask that if it is your first time, please to come at 3:30pm and we will gladly sign you up then. Please bring a photo ID and Proof of windsor residency when you come (water bill or mail of some kind with your address on it).

The volunteers pack bags on Friday mornings between 8:15 and 10:30am, then we hand the food out between 2:00 and 5:00pm.

Six days a week, we have Drivers who pick up our food at Raley's and Safeway. We also purchase food at the Redwood Empire Food Bank, and their trucks deliver produce to WSA the first two fridays of each month.

WSA Food Pantry Garden Program
WSA has 3 garden beds in the Windsor Town Green Community Garden where fresh local vegetables are grown to add to our food distribution program. The vegetables are organically grown and harvested by volunteers.  Our garden has provided hundreds of pounds of fresh veggies, such as tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, salad greens, broccoli and radishes to our neighbors in need.  We are always grateful for volunteers to help with our Food Pantry Garden. If you are interested in learning more about our program and lending a helping hand, you can call WSA at 707-838-6947.

Emergency Assistance Program
Provides a "one time" cash payment to help with seriously overdue utility bills. If one is in need of assistance, they can call the WSA at 707-838-6947 and a representative will take your information to provide it to the Board of Directors for review.

Gas Vocher Program
If you are traveling through Windsor and you run out of gas, you can go to the police station at 9291 Old Redwood Highway and they will give you a gas voucher good for $25 at the Shell Station on Old Redwood Highway.

Christmas Food Baskets
Food Baskets are provided in conjuntion with the Kiwanis Children's Gift Program at the Windsor High School Gymnasium, 8695 Windsor Road. Santa Claus will be there giving toys and presents to children. Turkeys and chickens are usually given out in December on regular Pantry days.

Emergency Food
Emergency food is also available if you call our pantry at 707-838-6947. We can arrange a one time appointment for those who are unable to come on Fridays. If someone will be picking food up for you on Fridays, please send a note along with card and we will provide food.
