Ways to VolunteerWe mail our Appeal Letter to the Windsor community
once a year. This letter asks for donations to help those in need. This letter is our
main source of revenue. We stuff about 12,000 envelopes in November.

Food Pantry Garden and Gleaning Program:  Our Food Pantry Garden in the Windsor Town Green Community Garden needs Volunteers to help tend and harvest the vegetables from the beds dedicated to WSA’s Food Pantry.  Community gardeners can also request our volunteers to glean excess produce from their garden beds for donation to WSA.  Anyone interested in helping garden or harvest can call the WSA at (707) 838-6947. If you find that you have excess fruits or vegetables from your own garden, you can bring them by the pantry and we would be more than happy to distribute them to the recipients.

We are also looking for Board of Directors. We would like to wish former Board of Director, Nicole Werstler, a warm "thank you" for all of her support and participation. She will be missed.

Human Race: One of our Board Members, Gina Osbeck, is currently working with some of the students at the Windsor High School in sponsorship of the WSA. If you are interested in pledging, walking or running yourself, please contact Gina at 837-8784 or glosbeck@gmail.com.

Wish List: We need help finding a new facility, along with moving and furnishings. New delivery van.

Board of Directors: Meets quarterly at the pantry on the 1st Monday of the Month. Interested parties welcome.

Pantry Coordinator: Coordinates the food pickup, restocking of food, volunteers, and management of the pantry.

Friday Volunteers: Morning volunteers needed from 8:15 -10:30am. Pack bags, sort  eggs and pastries, and set-up for the afternoon volunteers. The afternoon volunteers work from 2:00-5:00pm.
