Ways to Volunteer: We mail our Appeal Letter to the Windsor community
once a year. This letter asks for donations to help those in need. This letter is our
main source of revenue. We stuff about 12,000 envelopes in September and October.
Our new Community Garden Program is in need of Garden Volunteers to help tend and harvest the vegatables for our food distribution program. Anyone interested in helping out can call the pantry at (707) 838-694.
We are also looking for Board of Directors. We would like to wish former Board of Director, Nicole Werstler, a warm "thank you" for all of her support and participation. She will be missed.
Wish List: We need help finding a new facility, along with moving and furnishings. New delivery van.
Board of Directors: Meets quarterly at the pantry on the 1st Monday of the Month. Interested parties welcome.
Pantry Coordinator: Coordinates the food pickup, restocking of food, volunteers, and management of the pantry.
Friday Volunteers: Morning volunteers needed from 9:30-11:30am. Pack bags, sort eggs and pastries, and set-up for the afternoon volunteers. The afternoon volunteers work from 2:00-4:30pm. They help with the distribution of food, siging up new customers, packing bags, recording number of customers served weekly, and cleanup.
WSA Drivers: Different drivers pick up donated food from
Raley's and Safeway between 6-7:30am Monday thru Saturday.
Christmas Gift Program: We help coordinate this event with the Windsor Kiwanis Club.
